FREE OUTDOOR MOVIE: The Sandlot (PG)

NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT PERSIAN CATS (NR)

If you like Indy Rock, this movie is for you! This charming and funny Iranian film was shot in secret and features extraordinary performances by real underground rock bands. Forbidden by the authorities to play in Iran, a pair of young musicians embark on a mission to take their rock band to Europe, planning their escape abroad with a fast-talking music promoter. Vowing to play one last show before leaving Tehran, their dangerous mission takes them on a free-wheeling journey through the city's vibrant and diverse underground scene, home to an estimated 2,000 illegal independent bands. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT PERSIAN CATS won the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the Cannes film festival. In Persian with English subtitles.

How To Train Your Dragon (PG)

Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), a boy who desires to be a great dragon hunter, shoots down a dragon during a raid. None of his fellow villagers believe him, so he ventures into the woods to find proof. When he finds the dragon, he cannot bring himself to kill it and befriends it, beginning his new goal of creating peace between his people and the dragons.
